GENDEROSITY examines the drag transformation process of artist
Donald C. Shorter Jr into Francesca, his fabulous alter ego. Using live vocals, lip synching, story telling, and video projections, Shorter reveals how not conforming to societal gender norms has affected his life in and out of the heels.

Theater Productions presents the first annual Conscious Language: three days of conversation and performance curated by muMs (HBO's "Oz") on how poets and theater-makers can use their words to create a socially conscious theater of language. Featuring a workshop for poets on turning poetry into theater culminating in performance, a panel on the importance of the spoken word featuring leaders in the hip hop theater community, and featured performances by some of the city's finest spoken word poets.

The CURRENT SESSIONS is a NYC-based dance organization and presenting series that represents the works of early and midcareer choreographers and movement-based artists. We seek to provide a place for contemporary dance to thrive, serving as an incubator for the furtherance of our choreographers' artistic visions. Volume IV, Issue II. will feature 12 choreographers and 3 guest artists in 4 diverse programs, with a primary focus on works that have a dance theater/performance art influence, are created in collaboration with a sound designer, or carries a broad message of activism, among others.
