CINDERELLA (Saturdays & Sundays at 12PM) is the classic tale of a young girl and her quest to discuss Ornithology with Prince Dreamboat (It's pronounced "Dram-beau"). With the help of her faithful Bird friends, Albert and Cameron, the brave Cinderella is a real survivor. Will she make it to the Three Day Ball? Will the King & Queen ever get to retire to Boca? And what about that slipper?
THE TINDERBOX (Saturdays & Sundays at 1PM) is a favorite among dog lovers everywhere! An Evil Witch guides the Pure-Hearted Soldier to a secret treasure house deep beneath the earth--but first he must brave Three Magical Dogs--Goldie, Silvie, and Red--and fetch a mysterious Tinderbox. His adventures lead him to riches, friendship with a Lonely Princess, and a stand-off with an Evil Queen.
The actors include Jonathan Reed Wexler, Collin Blackard, Nicholas Corda, Alyssa Diamond, Claire Elise Walton & Samantha Cooper; set design is by Ashley Cusack, costume design by Asa Benally, lighting design is by Dennis Parichy, and puppet designs are by Spica Wobbe.
This family-friendly theater production will be performed in repertory at the Workshop Theatre with Frog & Peach Theatre Company's fall show for general audiences, Much Ado About Nothing, directed by Lynnea Benson. Performances are October 22 to November 15.
The two shows will be presented every Saturday & Sunday October 31 to November 15 at the Workshop Theatre (312 W 36th St. 4th Floor) and the plays are written and directed by Lynnea Benson and feature toe-tapping tunes by Ted Zurkowski. Tinkerbell Theatre will run on Saturdays and Sundays at 12PM and 1PM: CINDERELLA plays Saturdays & Sundays at 12PM. THE TINDERBOX plays Saturdays & Sundays at 1PM.
