The Children's Recording Arts Alliance announces the ninth annual charity benefit performance featuring four of this year's children's album GRAMMY® Award nominees. This year's public concert at Symphony Space will be held on Saturday, January 27 at 11 am. Tickets to the one-hour, all-ages concert ($20) are available now via SymphonySpace.org.
All net ticket sales will benefit Education Through Music's work with more than 30,000 students in at-risk elementary and middle schools in New York City.
This year's nominees reflect the variety and exuberance of independent music making for families. The nominees - Alphabet Rockers, Gustafer Yellowgold, Lisa Loeb andJustin Roberts - will all donate their performances to support the music education cause.
SiriusXM Kids Place Live hosts Kenny and Mindy will emcee the concert, scheduled as part of the venue's Just Kidding series. Symphony Space is located at . at 2537 Broadway in New York City.

The annual benefit concert - usually held in Los Angeles over GRAMMYs weekend - is produced by a volunteer team: KC Mancebo of Clamorhouse Kids, Regina Kelland of To Market Kids and Beth Blenz-Clucas of Sugar Mountain PR. SiriusXM Satellite Radio's "Kids Place Live" channel will record the concert and artist interviews, for a special show on Sunday, January 28. A children's recording arts industry luncheon for grown-ups will follow the concert at Carmine's Upper West Side location.
While this event celebrates recording arts and this year's nominees for best children's album, it is not an official event of the Recording Academy. The best children's album of 2018 winner will be announced at the 60th annual GRAMMY Awards Premiere Ceremony at Madison Square Garden on Sunday, January 28.
