Fn Productions, a New York-based Off-Off Broadway theatre company, will present Frank Blockers' SUITE ATLANTA at the 78th Street Theatre Lab from July 10th through the 26th.

The comedy takes place in 1995 at one of Atlanta's ritziest hotels, the fictional "Suites Atalanta".  Right before the O.J. verdict and way before the Spitzer scandal, this posh little hotel is about to become famous for business as usual.

Four actors portray over a dozen guests and employees in this hysterical homage to Neil Simon's Plaza Suite and California Suite.  Catch a high-profile politician in a tryst with a not-so-high-class call girl (sound familiar?).  Travel along with Lois and Lottie…two retired sisters from New York in town for a 'last hurrah'…and help a determined pageant mom convince her reluctant little Jon Benet to compete in the mother of all beauty pageants.  It all happens in Room 1713 of the Suites Atalanta.

Playwright-in-Residence Frank Blocker is best known for the Off-Broadway production of Eula Mae's Beauty, Bait & Tackle which he co-authored.  He has won numerous awards for such plays as Southern Gothic Novel, Patient Number, Kiss and Fade, and Alice with composer William Wade (The York Theatre Development Series, Eugene O'Neill semi-finalist). Alice will receive a staged reading at the Midtown Theatre Festival in late July. Fn Productions will present readings of his new plays, Air Marshals, Clarabee in Wichita Falls and Jesus Takes Manhattan in 2008.

SUITE ATLANTA will be directed by Jon Michael Murphy.  The cast includes Tanesha M. Ford, Sydney Stone, Chris von Hoffmann and Frank Blocker.

Showtimes are Thursdays – Saturdays at 8:00 pm.  The 78th Street Theatre Lab is located at 268 West 78th Street between Broadway and Amsterdam.  (Nearest subway – 1 train to 79th Street).  Tickets are $20.00 if purchased online at www.fnproductions.org or $25 at the door. (Cash only at the door please).

Fn Productions was founded in 2007 by theatre professionals to develop and produce Off and Off-Off Broadway plays.  For more information, please visit our website at www.fnproductions.org.
