Hold on to your heartstrings. Hamlet Isn't Dead's The Merchant of Venice is full of mirth, merriment, and music.

While Merchant is often considered one of Shakespeare's toughest "problem plays", Hamlet Isn't Dead continues their exploration of his entire canon with open minds and a focus on how the story reflects our modern sensibilities. With live music and an adventurous atmosphere, this is a wonderful example of the relevance of Shakespeare's works for everyone, from first-time audience members to well-worn scholars.

Hamlet Isn't Dead's Merchant of Venice runs tonight, December 14th, through December 17th. Performances are at Westbeth, 55 Bethune St, New York, NY. For tickets and more information, visit hidmov.bpt.me or contact James Rightmyer Jr. at james@hamletisntdead.com.
