This unconventional and inventive ping pong play is written, directed and performed by veteran New York City-based actors John Ahlin (Broadway: Journey's End, Lieutenant of Inishmore, Voices in the Dark, Film: Llewyn Davis) and Christopher Patrick Mullen ( Off- Broadway: The Runner Stumbles, National Tour: West Side Story ). ChipandGus tells the story of two colleagues who meet for their monthly ping pong game in the back of a nondescript bar in upstate NY. But this meeting is different. Tonight, to the real-time patter of paddles, buried secrets get uncovered, and the two realize that their lives are more entwined than they ever imagined.
This funny, fast and furious ping-pong-filled 90 minute play will be a site specific performance with no intermission. The play takes place in the back room of a bar, and will be presented in the back room of a bar!
