FRIGID New York will present Orange Wine Productions': Afternoon Tea With Jane Austen. The show is written by and starring Tali Brady and directed by Bruce Lambie.
About the show: AFTERNOON TEA WITH Jane Austen is a solo show about the life of one of the most popular authors in the English language. Dissatisfied with her biographers, Jane Austen returns to tell the story of her life – Over a cup of tea, of course. We learn about her family, romances and her struggles to write and publish such beloved novels as Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility.
About the artists: After over a year of "overdosing on Jane Austen research and gallons of tea," playwright and actor Tali Brady teams up with award-winning director Bruce Lambie (SPEAK TRUTH TO POWER) to create a portrait of one of the most influential literary minds of the 19th century.
