Between 2nd Avenue and Bowery Disaffected wannabe-rocker Ethan has been dreaming of the end of the world, but when a giant flood turns the globe into a watery wasteland and brings his fantasies to life, he finds the Apocalypse ain't all it's cracked up to be. Killer music, fantastic visuals and a hilarious cast of misfits, this junk rock musical has it all! PRESS:

Andy Matchett (Music, Lyrics, Story & Direction) - A graduate of Orlando, Florida's renown Doctor Phillips VPA Magnet Program for Theatre, Andy Matchett has been immersed in the arts for over 20 years. Best known for his work in musical projects Andy Matchett and the Minks, Johnny Dee and the Starlights and The Monorail, Andy has earned praise from audiences and critics alike with a unique blend of DIY theatricality, indie ethic and pop sensibilities. His starring turn as Buddy Holly in the sold out run of The Buddy Holly Story at the Icehouse Theatre in 2013 brought him back into the world of theatre and led to the first production of Key of E at the 2013 Orlando Fringe Festival. The show won 11 awards at the festival, the most of any show in the awards' history, including Best Musical, Best Show of Fringe and a Best Director nod for Andy himself. Corey Volence (Scriptwriter) - Corey is proud to be making his return to NYC after a few years back in Orlando, and even more proud to be bringing Key of E with him. This show is both Corey's first collaboration with Singer/Songwriter Andy Matchett, and also Corey's first produced script. The show took the Orlando Fringe Festival by storm, winning 11 awards, including a Best Actor award for Corey. His other credits include productions of Dracula (Renfield), Hair (Berger), and Urinetown (Bobby Strong). His first feature length film script is currently in production.
