David Yazbek is a long-time cult favorite-a recording artist, vocalist and pianist known for his thrilling live performances and irreverent style. Over the course of his surprising career, Yazbek has earned numerous awards. A three-time Tony Award nominee, his shows The Full Monty and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels have played in over 20 countries and his latest, Women On The Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, is set to open in London next year. With his band, he has released 5 albums, the latest being Evil Monkey Man. He is also a GRAMMY-nominated record producer and an Emmy Award-winning TV writer (for Late Night with David Letterman).
Adam Guettel is a composer/lyricist living in New York City. His most recent musical, The Light in the Piazza with a book by Craig Lucas, premiered on Broadway at Lincoln Center Theater's Beaumont Theater in April 2005. The Light In The Piazza received six Tony Awards including two for Mr. Guettel. Mr. Guettel wrote music and lyrics for Floyd Collins, which received the 1996 Lucille Lortel Award for Best Musical and earned Mr. Guettel the Obie Award for Best Music. His other works include Love's Fire, a collaboration with John Guare for The Acting Company, and Saturn Returns, a concert at Joseph Papp Public Theater/New York Shakespeare Festival. Awards for Mr. Guettel include the Stephen Sondheim Award (1990), the ASCAP New Horizons Award (1997), and the American Composers Orchestra Award (2005).
David Wain is the director/co-writer of five feature films including Wet Hot American Summer, Role Models, and the upcoming They Came Together. He produces/writes/directs the Emmy-award winning Adult Swim series Childrens Hospital, and co-created/co-starred in The State on MTV, Stella on Comedy Central, and Wainy Days on the web.
