FEAST: A Performance Series takes place at UNDER St. Marks Theater, 94 St. Marks Place between 1st Avenue and Avenue of the Americas. FEAST3: October will feature new performances from playwright Claire Moodey, singer/songwriter Nandi Kayyy, and composer Alex Parrish.

Claire Moodey will present excerpts from "boob tube," a play about inertia, cancer, and toxicity, set mostly at a high school track field at a Relay for Life walk-a-thon. Claire's most recent work as a playwright, "femme pathos," was seen at The Brick as part of The Exponential Festival in 2018. Other recent credits include "We're Imploding: A Toy Theater Double Feature" at The Tank (performer), "The Space Between The Letters" at Jack (performer/devisor), "Before the Sun and Moon" with Mettawee River Theater Company (performer), "Daphne" at IRT (designer/performer), and "Forsaken Nation" at The Brick (director).

Nandi Kayyy is a Queer, Southern-born singer/songwriter based in Brooklyn. Drawing inspiration from artists like Imani Omari, Aaliyah, & The Internet, while being guided by Neo-soul ancestors like Erykah Badu, Nandi Kayyy delivers a sound from where 90s R&B meets space.

Alex Parrish will present "Blood From A Stone," a short dramatic musical theatre character study that deconstructs a woman who has lost her capacity for empathy. This is the first of five shorts that will eventually build a full-length musical that explores the destructive force of apathy on human lives. As a composer/orchestrator, Alex has created three full-length musicals, film adaptation treatments, and scores for multimedia spectaculars and short films. As a performer he has been seen at Playwrights Horizons, Ars Nova, Theatre Row, Dixon Place, Valley Shakespeare, Town Hall, Times Center, and 54 Below.
