Europa the Musical Plays The Kraine Theater April 16-20

"Europa the Musical," a new science-fiction rock comedy musical, will play a limited test run for 4 performances only, April 16th- 20th at the Kraine Theater, 85 East 4th Street in Greenwich Village, NY.

Starring Paul Zablidowsky (aka Paulie Z), of the rock group ZO2 and star of the hit cable comedy series "Z Rock," "Europa" features a cast of 10 assorted characters who take the audience on a fun- and funny- ride to a space bar outpost located on the ice moon of Jupiter. Cast members have been saying the story is like a melding of "Blade Runner" with "The Rocky Horror Picture Show."

Making a featured guest appearance is Richard Lloyd, founding member of the internationally acclaimed rock band, Television.

Paulie Z plays Stone, an ex-con who has a new scheme he wants to execute on Europa. Other cast members are Collette McLafferty (Bridget, Stone's girlfriend), Jason Sadie (X, Stone's brother), Tatiana Moroz (Eloise, X's girlfriend), Andre Softeland (Stenzo, a scientist who moonlights as a space cab driver), Erica Ether (Moons, a bounty hunter), Linnea Larsdotter and Christina Saragaglia (Verity and Margo, two sexy twins) and Georgia Haege (Leena, a space newscaster). Richard Lloyd plays Ramos, a prison guard dreaming of a big score.

The 4 performances will be Saturday, April 16th at 2 PM and Monday- Wednesday, April 18th - 20th at 7:30 PM. Tickets are only $20 and are available from SmartTix online at http://bit.ly/gz1KXt.

"Europa the Musical" is written by Brian McLane, directed by Mike Farr and features the music of 80's rock band Hagatha, arranged and supervised by Rob Susman and is produced by the team of Farr, McLane, Susman and Ed Katz. Thurston Reyes is the lighting director.
