Presented by The East Harlem Repertory Theater, MANDELA, THE PREMIER is written by John Ruiz and Yolanda Brooks. Directed by John Ruiz, the show stars Lloyd Goodman as Nelson Mandela and runs today, December 12 and Saturday, December 13 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, December 14, 2014 at 4 p.m. at The National Black Theatre, 2031 Fifth Avenue, NYC.

MANDELA features "Warrior dance," performed by Fiorello H. LaGuardia, The High School for Performing Arts. Costume design by John Ruiz, Patricio Pereira and students from the James Weldon Johnson Leadership Academy (PS/MS 57). Musical score by John Ruiz.
