East 3rd Ensemble will present its inaugural production, The Weird Sisters, written by Zack Calhoon & directed by Ricardo Rietmuller. The Weird Sisters, with Production Design by Charles Alexander Khaikin & Sound Design by James B. Garver, will be presented at the Gene Frankel Theater from December 5th - 20th.
The Weird Sisters is a prequel to
William Shakespeare's Macbeth, that explores the back-story of the witches & how they came to be. Muriel, Seonaid & Rhoswen are violently rebuked by the men of Duncan's diseased government & choose to curse Scotland in order to cleanse the corruption of its current tyrannous regime.
