Greenwich Village mainstay Dialogue with Three Chords (D3C) continues their fourth year of staging original plays by teaming with Stable Cable Lab Co. to present 'Theatre of Hauntology,' "a night of ghosts, bad dreams, and the enduring terror of history," according to D3C playwright Stephen Gracia. The night will feature three original plays, live music from Tommy Lombardozzi, a spooky tale from storyteller Rose Bonczek and a raffle with spooky prizes. The show is on Thursday, October 23 at 8pm at Mr. Dennehy's on 63 Carmine Street. Admission is free, with a $3 suggested donation.

Gracia penned the new play: "The Three Stigmata of Harry Houdini", about a Death Rock band raising the spirit of Harry Houdini. Stable Cable playwright Collin McConnell contributes "The Mountain," in which a man hiking a mountain discovers his girlfriend is missing and that the earth is hungry.

Dialogue with Three Chords was founded in 2011 by Stephen Gracia and Michael LoPorto and applies the do-it-yourself philosophy of punk to the stage and features short plays and live music. Their work has also been produced at HERE Arts Center, The SOHO Gallery of Digital Art, Dixon Place, Sargent Theatre, Makor Theater, DUMBO Theatre Exchange, Levenson Hall at Brooklyn College, and the Theaters at 45 Bleecker.

Stable Cable Lab Co. strives to create an environment for new work and theater artists to flourish through developmental readings and workshops, ensemble laboratories and training, and productions. Stable Cable is dedicated to producing new plays that are intrinsically theatrical, ensemble-driven and bold. Past productions include the workshop production of 'Nibbler' by Ken Urban and 'i love you more than all the stars in the sky' (foolsFURY's Factory Parts, San Francisco), 'The Eden Project' (Dream Up Festival at Theater for the New City), 'Barter' (DC Capital Fringe), and 'The Coming World' Chashama Arts Space in Industry City, Brooklyn. In 2012 and 2013, Stable Cable participated in The Field Artist Residency program, supported by the Lambent Foundation.
