Dolores: A harrowing portrait of the evolution of love, Dolores is the story of siblings and spouses, bruises and bullets, in which two sisters with two very different kinds of heartache must confront in their own way not only the shadows of memory but the anguish behind every routine that life imposes.  Following last spring's production of John Osborne's Look Back in Anger, Clout in the Mug Productions continues its unflinching examination of domestic strife which is among its hallmarks.  In bringing Edward Allan Baker's searing one-act to life, director Alberto Bonilla and leads Rachel Cornish and Sat Charn Fox have proved themselves equal to the fearlessness, vivid characterization, and concern for love's most harrowing variations we've come to associate not only with Baker's work, but a Clout in the Mug Production as well.

North of Providence: Somewhere in the city of Providence a father lays dying.  In a darkened room his children come reluctantly together through the disarray of their lives to figure out what keeps them apart and discover finally what it is that keeps them together.  Continuing the tradition dynamic and mesmerizing emotional volatility established in the highly-praised productions of Brilliant Traces and Look Back in Anger, Clout in the Mug Productions is proud to present John Golaszewski and Rebecca Nyahay in Edward Allan Baker's celebrated one-act.  Under the direction of Alberto Bonilla, North of Providence manages to uncover the high art lurking in the lowest of circumstances and the deep love that runs through the most intense hatred.
