Anne Berlin presents a reading of Joe Pintauro's (The Raft of the Medusa) Snow Orchid, directed by Valentina Fratti, today, June 7th at 12pm at The Robert Moss Theater as part of the Planet Connections Theatre Festivity. The Robert Moss Theater is located at 440 Studios (440 Lafayette Street).

Brooklyn, 1964. Filumena Lazarra has not left her home in a very long time, longing for the warmth and peace of her native Sicily. Her sons, Sebbie and Blaise, have tried everything but when Rocco, the family patriarch returns from rehab, since a suicide attempt uncovered a manic-depressive disorder, everyone is forced to reexamine their relationships, fears and dreams. What does survival mean in this psychologically and emotionally engaging family drama, where love and anger go hand in hand?

The reading features two time Obie award winner Dennis Boutsikaris (Brighten Beach Memoirs; Amadeus; Filumenia; Bent), Leo Ash Evens (Jesus Christ Superstar; Finks), Matthew Dengler (A Little Night Music; Harold and Maude the York Theatre), Angelina Fiordellisi (Founder and Artistic Director of The Cherry Lane Theatre) and Francisco Solorzano (Producing Artistic Director Barefoot Theatre Company). *Appearing courtesy of Actor's Equity.
