DEF POETRY JAM'S RIVES
The "first 2.0 poet" Rives takes poetry and makes it do backflips. His passions are simple: the importance of the story and the charms of the human voice. In this sneak peek of his upcoming How to Trespass in New York City, Rives starts out as the man at the microphone and ends up mixing movie clips with love poems, audience participation and even Latin (as in "carpe diem").
