Budgets, props, producers and all but one actor are on the chopping block, with an inventive new theatre piece from British actor and comedian, Dan Titmuss.

Part of the unique programming at Reckless Theatre on 29th Street between 10th and 11th, Sir Reginald and The Quest For The Slice Of Life treats the audience to a plethora of unique characters, all played by Dan Titmuss, as they attempt to find immortality. The acrobatics needed to create a one man epic fantasy are impressive to say the least, and the rich theatricality and unique storytelling has audiences hooked from the start.

"With arts struggling at the moment and budgets being slashed across the board, I wanted to create something lean and low cost without sacrificing the artistic integrity of what I was doing," Dan says. "I love theatre and comedy, and have always had a soft spot for epic fantasies like Lord Of The Rings and Game of Thrones, so I wanted to channel those amazing themes and tropes with a budget of near $0."

Sir Reginald is the latest in a long line of innovative programming from Reckless Theatre. With tickets at such a low price - Sir Reginald is priced at just $5 - you have no excuse to miss out on this one-of-a-kind Off-Off-Broadway theatre.
