I (honestly) Love You comes straight from the Edinburgh Fringe after two sold out seasons in Australia, while HorseHead arrives from Rome after winning the Roma Fringe Festival and subsequently running for five consecutive seasons.

Both scripts were nominated for Best Play in the Western Australian Guild Equity Awards.

I (honestly) Love You is a comedy gem that follows two people inflicted with a truth-telling disease, as they meet and fall in love

Lloyd Rees and Belle Ashton are the two reluctant protagonists who are burdened with the truth telling disease Vitiositas Veritas, which only allows them to tell the truth at all times. Like most relationships, everything seems to be going (sort of) well enough to start with: there's hesitant first date, a disappointing initial sexual encounter and an unfortunate meeting with Belle's parents.

Somehow the two lovers navigate these intimate difficulties enough to look each other in the eyes and say 'I love you' which, unbeknown to either of them, precipitates the next stage of the disease. Having honestly uttered those three words they are now able to lie to each other but every time they do so a week is knocked off their lives. The choice is simple: vicious truth and life, or honest lies and death.

The show was nominated for two awards in the Equity Guild Awards 2012 and was nominated for four Blue Room awards including Judge's Choice and Member's Choice.

Lockwood's play HorseHead is being performed (in English) by Roman theatre ensemble, Cattive Compagnie.
