Core Artist Ensemble Showcases Seven New One-Acts This Month in TWISTED SHORTS

Core Artist Ensemble, the theater company born from a Barrow Group Theatre master class in 2011 and hailed for "their eye for quality and their penchant for collaboration" (http://drama-queens.net), will showcase 7 new one-acts this October in "Twisted Shorts." These 7 plays were chosen from a pool of over 40 works that were featured this summer in Core's 3rd annual Summer Reading Series.

The production will feature new works by Rob Ackerman, Dean Imperial (Samuel French Off-Off Broadway Short Play Festival Finalist), David MacGregor, Cheri Magid, Robin Rothstein, Amy Staats (2013 BVEW Screenplay fellow; Best Short Script 2012 LA Comedy Shorts), and Justin Warner.

Performances by Core Artist members Rachel Casparian (Co-Artistic Director), Rachael Lee* (Co- Artistic Director), Libby Collins*, Alex Correia, Jane Elias, Matthew Bryan Feld*, Dean Imperial, Nate Rollins, and Matt Shear.

The production will also feature guest artists Tessa Borbridge, Cathy Curtin (Orange Is the New Black), Kara Dudley, John C. Egan, Emily Gabler, Nathalie Frederick, Katie Lawson, Ron Palais, and Matt Reeves.

Sexy, dark, deviant, and at times inappropriate, these 7 twisted short plays will have your jaw dropping at every turn.
