City Attic Theatre, an emerging off-off-Broadway company, proudly closes their second season with a production of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) by Adam Long, Daniel Singer and Jess Winfield.   The production runs July 26 – 29 and July 31 – August 2 at 8 p.m., at the Stella Adler Studios, located at 31 W. 27th St. (2nd Floor).

"Why spend three hours on a single play of Shakespeare's when you can get all thirty-eight in an hour and a half?  In honor of our culture's devotion to drive-through meals and eight-minute abs, City Attic Theatre has decided to pack all of Shakespeare's goodness into one comic multivitamin.  The play, created and made famous by the Reduced Shakespeare Company, showcases the comedic talents of three actors while lovingly skewering the revered Shakespearean canon," state press materials.

The show is directed by Marcus Kamie, designed by Amanda Embry, Christopher Edwards, and Dianna Marino, and features Jeff Scot Carey, Brian Greer and Christopher Palazzolo.

"City Attic Theatre provides a home for theatrical artists, creating new opportunities to nurture their craft in a collaborative setting while developing powerful theatrical masterpieces.  The goal is to remove the boundaries that dictate the traditional roles of artists, to release and unify the collaborative imagination."

This production was made possible through the support of The Field.

Tickets are $15 and are available at the door (cash only).  For reservations, please call 718-956-3946 or e-mail cityattic@gmail.com.   For more information, please visit www.myspace.com/cityattic.
