The Chain Theatre is thrilled to announce their NEW home base at 312 W. 36th street, steps from the 'Crossroads of the World' in Midtown Manhattan.

Since their inception in 2009 Chain has produced 20 award winning mainstage productions, 6 playwriting festivals, 26 comedy events, and 5 international film festivals and collaborated with countless artists. Following the loss of their lease in Long Island City due to real estate development in 2016, The Chain Theatre continued to produce their Usual Rejects Comedy Events, the Chain NYC International Film Festival, and in 2017 had the honor of working along side Tony winning playwright David Rabe on a revival of In the Boom Boom Room. The Chain sees the possibilities of success as endless in this new location.

Artistic Director, Kirk Gostkowski says, "The work we have done has never been easy, and without this incredible team and community I don't know how we would have done it. At a time when independent theaters are becoming increasingly scarce in the theater capital of the world, we are looking to again create a space to produce high-caliber work that is accessible, relatable, and invokes a visceral response in the audience through the mediums of theatre and film."
