Step1 Theatre Project, a rising star in the indie theater skyline, presents a half-dozen holiday tales ... only if you're celebrating in the Twilight Zone - Falsehoods, Fallacies & Fairytales: Unusual Christmas Stories by Ashley Lauren Rogers.

Four crazy nights: Wednesday, December 7 @ 8:00 p.m., Saturday, December 10 @ 7:00 p.m., Sunday, December 11 @ 7:00 p.m. Special "Dark Monday" Showing, December 12 @ 8:00 p.m. at The Royal Theater at The Producers Club, 358 W 44th St, New York City. Tickets at step1theatreproject@gmail.com.

Producers, Jazmyn Arroyo & Janelle Zapata, invite you to depart from the usual tear-jerkers and cartoon classics for a tale of an ugly sweater that speaks; a bachelor party - without a bachelor; a pissed-off elf; love in a time of time travel, and guest appearances by Satan and the apocalypse!

Program includes:

The Illustrated XMas Sweater, directed by Janelle Zapata, featuring Lara Fox
A mother receives an ugly Christmas Sweater with the ability to tell her stories.

Lap Dance for the Invisible Man, directed by Janelle Zapata, featuring Jason Michael Dick, Sam Lopresti, Jazmyn Arroyo
Buddies throw a bachelor party for their friend, complete with a stripper and booze... problem is where's the bachelor.

Becky's Christmas Wish, directed by Benjamin Abraham featuring Dana Searing and Gabriel Spector
A magical Christmas Elf appears in a child's bedroom and tells her he can grant one wish this holiday season, but he's not prepared for what could be on this little girl's mind tonight.

Black Lipstick, directed by Benjamin Abraham, featuring Yvette Chin and Vivian Aladren
Hoping to have a little bit of fun, a single mother tries to go see her favorite band but only if her daughter approves of her outfit.

The Mall Satan, directed by Janelle Zapata, featuring Sara Minisquero and Samantha Glovin
Due to a clerical error, a mall manager finds Satan sitting at his desk waiting to spread the word of the underworld to all the boys and girls.

Brocreation, directed by Maria Aladren, featuring Darian Bencosme, Mateo Lamuño, Lacey Andreanszky, Sara Minisquero
Twenty-something Randy has his day ruined when his roommate tells him that if they don't have sex right here, right now, Randy will be responsible for fathering a child who will bring about the apocalypse. His roommate's advances are blocked until he see the truth to this post apocalyptic future.

As long as you've got a vision, keep moving forward ... one step at a time.

Step1 Theatre Project's mission is to practice and promote artistic freedom. While they work to present their our own bold, meaningful productions, they facilitate the creative visions of many independent artists in NYC not being realized due to the financial challenges associated with funding their own work. Step1 does this by sharing resources, promoting new works, donation of funds, rehearsal space, and/or performance space - and anything possible to foster and inspire the next generation of artists and encourage them to produce their projects fearlessly, regardless of the challenges.
