Casting Announced for Pete McElligott's IN A LITTLE ROOM at the wild project

Ten Bones Theatre Company will present the World Premiere of Pete McElligott's dark comedy In a Little Room, directed by Patrick Vassel at The Wild Project (195 East 3rd Street between Avenue A and Avenue B), September 9-24 with performances Tuesday through Saturday at 7:30pm and Saturday and Sunday at 2pm. Tickets ($15) are available online at www.artful.ly/store/events/12563. The performance will run approximately 90 minutes, with no intermission.

In a Little Room tells the story of two strangers trapped in the cold comforts of a hospital waiting room, feebly trying to restart their lives and failing fantastically as the hospital, possibly, burns down around them.

The cast will feature Jeb Kreager* (Obie Award winner for Oslo at Lincoln Center) and Luis-Daniel Morales (Tony Lindsay's Where Hearts Lie) with Lightning Design by Katy Atwell (The Resistable Rise of Arturo Ui with Lyra Theater Company), Costume Design by Evan Prizant (Associate Designer on Sunday in the Park with George on Broadway), and Set & Graphics Design by Zachary Zirlin (graphic designer for Marvel on Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Daredevil, and Jessica Jones on Netflix).

Ten Bones Theatre Company currently produces the hit comedy series Entirely from Memory at The PIT in Manhattan and at Videology Bar & Cinema in Brooklyn. In a Little Room will be the company's first mainstage production.

Pete McElligott (Playwright) is a New York-based playwright, actor and teacher. New York productions of his work include: Wake at the NYU Shop Theater, and The Diary of Lisa Frank at The PIT and The Player's Theatre. Full length works With a Bang, In a Little Room, and Gravediggers have had public readings with Pipeline Theatre Company, Stella Adler Studio, and Theatre East. He is Co-Founder and Co-Artistic Director of Ten Bones Theatre Company, where he created and produces the very successful Entirely from Memory series. Regionally, With A Bang, a National New Play Network (NNPN) selection, had its regional premiere as an NEA grant recipient at Southern Repertory Theater in New Orleans, and subsequently received productions in Indianapolis at The Phoenix Theater and in Bel Air, Maryland by the HCC Actor's Guild. It's companion piece, With A Whimper, was also produced by The Phoenix in Indianapolis the following season. In New Orleans, productions consist of Not to Be at Le Chat Noir and Double Hockey Sticks at The Alamo Underground. In a Little Room was selected for a workshop in Ithaca, New York as a part of The Hangar Theatre's New Play Reading Series. Commissions include: Adventures in Wonderland, a choose-your-own-adventure immersive work written for The NOLA Project, a New Orleans-based ensemble theater company, for the sculpture garden of the New Orleans Museum of Art, The Disappearing Clarinet (One-Act) for a workshop by Ten Bones Theater Company, and a re-imagining of Don Quixote in the Spring of 2016, also with The NOLA Project.

Patrick Vassel (Director) is a director, writer, and teacher from Akron, Ohio. Patrick is the Associate and Supervising Director of Hamilton - on Broadway, in Chicago, and the 1st National Tour.
