CORE Theatre Makes NYC Debut with THE POE PROJECT at Midwinter Madness Tonight

Core Theatre Ensemble's award winning and critically acclaimed The Poe Project is making its New York premiere this February as part of the Midwinter Madness Short Play Festival with 2 performances tonight, February 28 at 9pm and Saturday March 1 at 2:30pm. Based on the works of Edgar Allan Poe, The Poe Project is an amazing night of telling tales when four actors journey seamlessly from story to poem and back again in a truly unique evening filled with laughter and chills.

Fresh from showcasing at Aula de Teatro's International Theater Festival at the University of Santiago, Spain earlier this month, The Poe Project is an ever evolving production has CORE's inventive blend of literature, theatre, music and dance. Running just under an hour in length, the evening includes performances of The Cask of Amontillado, The Tell-Tale Heart, The Raven, and Anabelle Lee amongst other poems and stories.

The show runs Friday, February 28, 2014 at 9:00pm, Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 2:30pm at Roy Arias Studios: Stage II, 300 West 43rd Street, 4th Floor ( at the Corner of 8th Avenue), New York, NY 10036, One block from Port Authority Bus/Subway Terminal.
