Packawallop Productions (Scott Ebersold, Artistic Director; Jay Aubrey, Producing Director) will host Unmasked: A Masquerade Benefit Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at The Bubble Lounge (228 West Broadway, Lower Level). The festivities begin at 7:00 pm.

Unmasked will bring Mardi Gras to life in New York City. Guests will enjoy free signature Svedka Vodka cocktails provided by Steele Luxury Travel and beer by Kelso of Brooklyn. Prizes will be given for best mask.

Door prizes include packages from MoMA, Salon de Oasis, Avalon Day Spa and Salon as well as an industrial package with top casting director Judy Bowman and talent agent Dustin Flores (Judy Boals Agency). Tickets for the door prizes are $1.00 and available online at www.packawallop.org or at the benefit.

The Unmasked Benefit Committee is chaired by Packawallop members Susan Louise O'Connor (Theatre World Award winner and Outer Critics Circle nominee for Blithe Spirit) and Kari Bentley-Quinn and includes Carl Andress, Judy Bowman, Mercedes Herrerro, Caridad Svich, Adam Szymkowicz, Daniel Talbott, Travis York and Chris Wells.

Tickets are $25 in advance at www.packawallop.org or $30 at the door. Proceeds from Unmasked will support Packwallop Productions' upcoming season, which kicks off with Kari Bentley-Quinn's new play Paper Cranes in April 2011. Unmasked is made possible with community support by companies like The Bubble Lounge, Steele Luxury Travel and Kelso of Brooklyn.

For 15 years, Packawallop Productions has created visually charged original productions of new plays that spotlight cultural and sexual identity. In bringing the company's diverse cultural backgrounds to each project, Packawallop explores how an individual relates to society, be it through their ethnicity, nationality, sexuality or gender.
