Bebe Zahara Benet, winner of Season One of RuPaul's Drag Race, presents her new autobiographical drag spectacular Queendom. To be held at The Tank on Thursday May 26th at 9:30pm and Friday May 27th at 7:30pm.

Queendom features 11 original songs written and performed by Bebe Zahara Benet, and features singers La'Nette Searcy and Shirley Severe, dancers Eddie Carrington and Roger Turner, and drummer Kevin George Rusty. Media Design by Room404 Media. Written in part by Aundaray Guess. Directed by Andrew Neisler.

Bebe Zahara Benet redefines her Queendom in this fast-paced, high-energy, drag extravaganza. With stunning visual transformations and fierce new music, Queendom tells of the inspiring journey of Bebe Zahara Benet: from her origins in Cameroon to the high fashion world of Paris, through her experiences on RuPaul's Drag Race and finally as a popular drag performing artist in New York City. Combining both the African customs of BeBe's upbringing, and the ritualistic traditions of drag performance, Queendom weaves a spiritual story of the search for oneself.

Bebe Zahara Benet, born Marshall Kudi Ngwa, hails from the West African Republic of Cameroon.
Recognized as the inaugural winner of the title "America's Next Drag Superstar", from season one of RuPaul's Drag Race, Bebe's mastery as a drag artist is impeccable. She delights audiences both Nationally and Internationally by bringing a strong, bold, beautiful and entertaining character that honors and respects the feminine persona. As a recording artist, Bebe brings to the scene an eclectic infusion of world music that mixes her West African roots with the sensibilities of traditional house, dance and R&B, to produce hits like, "I'm The Sh*t" and "Cameroon".

Tickets are $12 and will be available at the door for the general public.
