Kirsten Ames and The Barrow Street Theatre Presents THE IMPROVISED SHAKESPEARE COMPANY from May 20th to the 24th at the Barrow Street Theatre (27 Barrow Street). The times are at 10 p.m. every evening except for the 24th which is at 8 p.m. The production was created and directed by Blaine Swen.

Based on one audience suggestion (a title for a play that has yet to be written) The Improvised Shakespeare Co. creates a fully improvised comedic play in Elizabethan style. Each of The Players has brushed up on his "thee's" and "thou's" to bring you an evening of off-the-cuff comedy using the language and themes of William Shakespeare. Nothing is planned-out, rehearsed, or written. Each play is completely improvised, so each play is entirely new. Running time is 1 hour, 20 minutes with no intermission. Visit the Improvised Shakespeare Company online at www.ImprovisedShakespeare.com.

General admission tickets are $20. There is a $3 discount for an advance purchase with the code: PRVISC, used with smarttix online or at the box office. $15 tickets are available for advance purchase for the Thursday and Sunday performances; for Thursday, use code: THRISC and for Sunday, use code: SUNISC. Tickets are available on www.smarttix.com as well as at the box office at 27 Barrow Street at 7th Ave; the box office opens at 1 p.m. More information at its website: www.barrowstreettheatre.com/
