Backyart Productions will present Mike Poblete's play ANTENORA as part of the 3rd Annual Planet Connections Theatre Festivity. The Festivity will take place June 1st through the 26th at the Gene Frankel Theatre (24 Bond Street) and the Robert Moss Theater at 440 Studios (440 Lafayette Street) in New York City; ANTENORA will be performed at the Robert Moss Theater and will be directed by Jessica Creane.
In ANTENORA, two ordinary men are ripped out of their lives and thrown into an anonymous prison where torture is part of life. As darkly comedic as it is heartfelt you will find yourself empathizing, demonizing and strategizing along with them in this frighteningly modern story of survival at any cost through humor, companionship, and imagination.
The production will star Max Woertendyke and
Ben Williams (both members of AEA) and will play the following schedule at the Planet Connections Theatre Festivity:
June 2nd at 4:00PM / June 4th at 3:40PM / June 5th at 9:00PM
June 9th at 8:30PM / June 18th at 8:40PM / June 20th at 6:00PM
Tickets are $18 & can be purchased online at

Backyart is an arts forum designed to encourage conversation and collaboration between artists working in all mediums. Through our programming, presenting an easily accessible pastiche of traditional and new art genres in one space, we expose audiences to work they wouldn't otherwise come into contact with and expand their comprehension of what should be considered "art."
THE PLANET CONNECTIONS THEATRE FESTIVITY is New York's premiere eco-friendly/socially-conscious theatre festival. Fostering a diverse cross-section of performances, the festival seeks to inspire artists and audiences both creatively and fundamentally, in a festive atmosphere. At the heart of the festivity are like-minded individuals striving to create professional, meaningful theatre, while supporting organizations, which give back to the community at large
