SHOTZ! is a theatrical pressure cooker that every month pairs 6 groups of actors, writers, and directors together to create brand new 10-minute plays, and perform them the first Monday of the month at The Kraine Theater, 85 E. 4th St., NY. Unified by three common criteria, each collection of plays captures a variety of perspectives around the month's theme, and is the best, most consistent showcase of up-and-coming talent in NYC theater.
SHOTZ! features a mix of Broadway, Off-Broadway, regional theater, and TV talent, with six new plays coming at you the first Monday of every month!
Ghosts of Shotz Past is an evening of mythical, magical and existential short plays, that will take you on a journey and make you face your inner demons - over a beer! This month, each play will also feature original live music!
This month's conditions are:
1. There must be original music played live in each piece.
2. A wrong must be made right.
3. The line, "But it's tradition!"
