The American Museum of Natural History previously announced Luna's Sea, a live puppet theater production for today and Sunday, May 12 and 13, at 11 am and 2 pm. This weekend's performance will be the Mystic, Connecticut-based Production Company's New York premiere.
Through the use of dance, puppetry, optical illusions, and black-light theater, the audience will experience the tale of a young girl's ocean journey from the penguin-inhabited shores of Africa to the dark underwater homelands of bioluminescent creatures, learning that all life on Earth is connected.
The American Museum of Natural History, Kauffman Theater is located at Central Park West at 79th Street.
