As the Duke Theseus (Nico Bourgeais) prepares to marry Hippolyta (Renata Soares), four lovers run amok in the nearby forests of Athens. Lysander (Matt Deluca), Hermia (Lindsay Wolff), Demetrius (Jonathan J. Sharp), and Helena (Jessica Thiele) are met with strange magic crafted by Oberon, the Fairy King, (Dante Jayce) and his servant Puck (Bryna Kearney). The lovers find that their original affections are not quite what they appear, much to the chagrin of Egeus (Carly Christopher).

Meanwhile, in another part of the Athenian forest, a crew of rough-handed mechanicals rehearse a play intended for great Theseus' nuptial day. Led by Peter Quince (Sarah Hewitt), the laborers plan to perform Pyramus and Thisby. Bottom (Sam Urdang) demonstrates his allegedly great skill as a thespian across from the dainty Flute (Charles Kennedy), with Snug (Kevin Shivcharran), Snout (Evan Watkins), and Starveling (Charlie Shulman).

During their rehearsal, Oberon curses his Fairy Queen, Titania (Brie Brewer) to fall in love with a now transformed Bottom, and chaos ensues. Attended by her fairy servants played by Amy Jean Greenblott, Ashley Doney, Alanna Dachille, Rachel Ellis Coffin, Vikki Martin, Christina L. Williams, Gilda Mercado, Grace Brewster, Kanja Grobler, and Lizzie Benzik, Titania fawns over Bottom until Oberon finally releases her from his spell.

All is restored in the end. The lovers each marry their true love. But was it all a Dream?
