Alex Boling ("Reddy or Not" [LA Premiere], ABC's "Suburgatory") is making a return engagement to The Other Side in Silverlake this Sunday, February 12 at 6:30 PM with a new Valentine's Day-inspired cabaret show. Fed up with Cupid continuing to take center stage and spread fantasy as fact every Valentine's Day, Alex Boling presents "Heels Over Head in Love: a cabaret celebration of the Tawdry, the Manipulative & the Prurient (Based on True Events)."

Under the musical direction of and accompanied on the piano by James Lent, Alex will be performing a collection of slightly bitter duets and jaded mash-ups that present a less idealized, somewhat skewed take on the search for modern love and "gettin' some." Joining Alex on stage in song will be special guests: Carla Renata ("Avenue Q" [Broadway, Nat'l Tour], Disney's "Shake It Up!"), Ashley Palmer ("Pieces of Ass" [O.B.], "PARANORMAL ACTIVITY"), Amy Halloran ("Anyone But Me"[Blank Theatre], "UnLEASHED"), Keith Gerchak ("The Road to Qatar" [O.B.], ABC's "The Middle") and Scott Bussell ("PRIDE," TVOne's "Lisa Raye: The Real McCoy"). Also making a special appearance will be Alex's "Suburgatory" cohort Todd Sherry ("Little Shop of Horrors" [Nat'l Tour]) who plays Tom and along with Alex makes up the very funny metrosexual neighbors on the hit ABC show.

"Heels Over Head in Love," will begin at 6:30 PM. Admission is free although donations to Project Angel Food will be encouraged. The Other Side is located at 2538 Hyperion Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90027.
