This summer, acclaimed Russian director Aleksey Burago returns with My Uncle Chekhov, a heart-warming, larger-than-life comedy celebrating the short stories of Anton Chekhov.
Interwoven around one of Chekhov's most beloved tales, The Darling, this show also features twelve of his best anecdotes, including Fat and Thin, Questions Posed by a Mad Mathematician, Death of a Government Clerk, A Little Joke, Minds in Ferment, Daughter of Albion, A Happy Ending and more. Join the cast of nine colorful characters as they fumble through love, loss and the beautiful absurdity of life.
My Uncle Chekhov will run from tonight, July 14, through July 31, Tuesdays to Saturdays at 8PM and Sundays at 7PM at the West End Theatre on 263 W 86th Street.
