Director and famed Irish actress, Geraldine Hughes keeps the accent on fun. In the blink-and-you-miss-it Northern Ireland village of Ardnaglass where cows, tractors, eccentric locals and bizarre farming accidents are all mentioned in the same breath, Hugh Frances O'Connell, a lovelorn pig farmer, and his childhood sweetheart Margaret Mary-Rose O'Boyle, a feisty barmaid, broadcast all the news that's fit to chew from their broKen Down community radio station located in Mickey Madden's mother's garage. Their lives are considerably altered by a BBC Intern from Argentina.
