On November 11, the first annual ALL FOR ONE THEATER FESTIVAL will launch a ten-day event that will focus The National Theatre community's attention on the SOLO GENRE, a self-supporting, self-contained creative category of entertainment that is rapidly emerging into the lucrative glare of Bi-Coastal industry interest.

The ALL FOR ONE THEATER FESTIVAL will run every day, all day and into the evening, from Friday, November 11 through Sunday, November 20 at THEATRE 80 St. MarkS (80 St. Marks Place - just West of First Avenue - between 7th & 9th Streets - take the N or R to 8th Street/NUY stop; #6 to Astor Place stop; L to 1st Avenue stop).

Michael Wolk, the Festival's Executive Director, has gathered the country's superstars of storytelling and the masters of Solo Presentation for a schedule that contains fifteen Full Length Solo Shows, an Evening of Excerpts from three new powerhouse full length shows, three New Works in development by a select few of the industry's most unique and daring solo artists and eight Workshops, Master Classes and Panels conducted by the Solo Community's most acclaimed veterans poised to share the tools and blueprints that have built this genre into the extremely popular art form it has become.

These playwright/performers are the most acclaimed and heralded artists being presented in the Solo arena today. They are an intensely talented breed driven by the need to tell their stories to the world. Stories so dense in dramatic revelations as to require an unbroken trance-like connection to a willing audience. There is a heightened sense of courage at play here. These are the rock stars of the theatrical world. On stage on their own, they can change your life in a riveting 70 minutes.

The Festival's revered ADVISORY BOARD proudly includes Daniel Beaty, Gretchen Cryer, Mike Daisey, Tovah Feldshuh, Jackie Hoffman, Deb Margolin, Matt Hoverman, Leslie Jordan, Jackie Mason, Dael Orlandersmith, Eva Price, Mark Rylance, Patrick Stewart and Nilaja Sun.
