Creative Arts Lab presents ACCENTUATE THE POSITIVE...THE SONGS OF JOHNNY MERCER, a new musical revue featuring the legendary songs of the American lyricist, songwriter and singer created by Brian Hurley, Gwen Arment and Martin Tackel.

ACCENTUATE THE POSITIVE will be staged at Theatre Row - The Studio Theatre, 410 West 42nd Street, New York, NY 10036 for five performances from tonight, March 24th, through March 27th, 2016.

ACCENTUATE THE POSITIVE...THE SONGS OF JOHNNY MERCER is a newly created musical revue of the songs of Johnny Mercer, one of America's greatest popular songwriters, whose Broadway hits like Come Rain or Come Shine, popular standards like Goody Goody, and Oscar-winning songs such as Moon River and Days of Wine and Roses still capture America's imagination. From Broadway to Tin Pan Alley to Radio and to the founding of Capitol Records, the great Johnny Mercer's genius shone for five decades. Join Creative Arts Lab and a fantastic cast for a kaleidoscopic tribute to America's finest lyricist.

Performances are Thursday through Saturday at 8pm, Saturday at 2pm and Sunday at 3pm. The runtime is approximately 90 minutes with no intermission. Tickets are $17.00 (plus fees) and can be purchased by visiting telecharge.com or by calling 212-239-6200.

Creative Arts Lab was founded in 2015 to serve as a nonprofit home for exploration and creation in theatre and other performing arts, the literary and visual arts, film, radio, television, photography, multimedia and digital arts. Its inaugural production was Traveling Papers, which was praised by critics and played to large houses on Theatre Row in NYC.
