The Producing Club and Ctemko present the World Premiere of A Place To Come Home To, written by John Dirrigl and directed by Brian Catton, running tonight, June 24th - July 12th at Shelter Studios.

In 1953, how does a patriotic German-American man heal himself of the prejudice and hate he confronted during World War II because his brother was a member of the Nazi Bund in America?

In 1938, George Schmidt sailed from the US to Germany to fight for Hitler and the Nazi Party against the Allied forces. His disloyal act destroyed his brother, Hans, and the rest of the family who remained in America, since everyone saw the Schmidts as spies and traitors. Now, 15 years later, George returns to the US for a serious operation. Can Hans forgive George? Should Hans sacrifice his wife and children to take care of the brother who ruined his life?

This two act drama takes place in 1953, in Hartford, Connecticut during the height of the McCarthy Era.

The show stars Steve Carrieri, Jay Rivera, Christina Toth, John Pope, Natasa Warasch and Rachel Rotay.

Tickets are $18. Running Time: 120 minutes. Shetler Studios' Theatre 54 is located at 244 W 54th Street 12th Floor, New York, NY 10019 (8th Avenue). Tickets can be purchased via phone at 212-868-4444 or online at www.smarttix.com.
