Twenty-seven plays, hot off their last performances at the New York International Fringe Festival, are ready to be discovered by the rest of the world. Martin Denton, founder and editor of Indie Theater now, with the help of the dedicated team of nytheatre.com reviewers, has curated a grouping of 27 new dramatic works that represent the diversity, vibrancy, invention, energy, and fun that characterized this year's FringeNYC.

Indie Theater Now, just a bit over a year old, is the revolutionary way to experience contemporary American drama on the Internet. Some have nicknamed it "iTunes for plays" and some playwrights call it "Cyber-Caffe Cino." It’s a way to browse an ever-expanding selection of plays by the finest indie theater playwrights, and then purchase Digital Plays to read online.

The collection features all three winners of this year’s "Excellence in Playwriting" Award at FringeNYC: DECOMPRESSION by Maggie Cino, PIECES by Chris Phillips, and WOULD by David Marx. 24 additional scripts, running the gamut from solo work to cutting-edge drama, are included: WE CRAZY, RIGHT? by Jeff Seabaugh , YBW - YELLOW BRICK WALL: ANGRY WHITE MEN PLAYED BY TWO HAPPY ASIAN GIRLS by Siho Elsmore and Marisa Marquez , CAUSE OF FAILURE by Megan Weaver, BUMBERSHOOT by Derek Davidson, I <3 REVOLUTION by Alexandra Panzer, Tara Schuster, Alice Winslow, BOXPLAY by Steven Ackley, SONGS OF LOVE: A THEATRICAL MIXTAPE by Nat Cassidy, FROM BUSK TILL DAWN: THE LIFE OF AN NYC STREET PERFORMER by Tim Intravia, GAY CAMP by Philip Mutz and Susan-Kate Heaney, RIGHT ON TARGET by Gary Morgenstein, THE EGG PLAY by Candice Benge, THE ZEBRA SHIRT OF LONELY CHILDREN by Matthew Trumbull (winner of an "Excellence in Solo Performance" Award at FringeNYC), IMMACULATE DEGENERATION by Pamela Sabaugh, THE 27 CLUB by Tommy Trull, SALAMANDER STARTS OVER by Armando Merlo (winner of an "Excellence in Solo Performance" Award at FringeNYC), WAKE UP! by Kim Fischer, SNOW WHITE ZOMBIE: APOCALYPSE by Brenton Lengel, OR WHAT SHE WILL by Charly E. Simpson, DUMBER FASTER by David Mogolov , MAGDALEN by Erin Layton , ALICE & THE BUNNY HOLE by Alex DeFazio, ANIMALS by Sam Byron, MAGIC TRICK by Mariah MacCarthy and I'M SORRY by Katya Lidsky.

The Indie Theater blog has many more details. Check back for updates until the release date for the collection today, September 30. And Indie Theater Now has an early bird special for those who sign up to be first to receive this fabulous collection—early birds will get a discounted price, some freebies, and exclusive bonus content.
