iLuminate™ Productions today announced tickets are now on sale for the world premiere of iLuminate's: Artist of Light, a live show in New York City at The Duke on 42nd Street, a New 42nd Street® project on West 42nd Street. iLuminate wowed the nation with their groundbreaking light suits on America's Got Talent and then hit the road, performing for awestruck crowds around the globe. Now, they take you on a fantastical journey in their first off-Broadway show. The limited run engagement commences November 23, 2012 and runs through January 5, 2013.

Music, art, and the technological magic of iLuminate bring you a story of adventure and romance told through dance styles from contemporary to hip-hop to breaking, using the power of light.

Artist of Light tells the story of Jacob, a talented but insecure young artist who struggles to connect with the real world. He takes comfort in his magical paintbrush, which grants him the power to turn the characters of his imagination into living, breathing creatures. When a jealous bully steals the paintbrush and uses it for evil, turning Jacob's sweet creations into horrifying monsters, Jacob must face danger without the help of his miraculous tool. He fights to save his town and friends, all while knowing the paintbrush that brought him so much joy is now a weapon in the hands of a villain bent on destruction.

iLuminate founder, creative director, and software engineer, Miral Kotb, says, "We're so proud to present our very first ticketed show. Artist of Light is a fable that combines mythical elements with music, art, dance forms and the magic of iLuminate light suits. We've created an exciting story with characters our fans will fall in love with."

Justin "Kanobby" Keitt, best known as the musical director for hip-hop group sensation Far East Movement, has signed on as Musical Director for this production. Kanobby has produced songs for music icons Snoop Dogg, Quincy Jones and John Legend, and wrote the musical score for Snoop Dogg & Wiz Khalifa's "Mac and Devin Go to High School" film.

Composer Christopher Tignor's work as a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and interactive software engineer is best known through his releases with his bands Slow Six, Wires.Under.Tension, and under his own name across six LP's and numerous compilations on the Western Vinyl and New Albion labels. As a touring musician, orchestral arranger, and Avant composer, Tignor has played venues as diverse as Carnegie Hall and the Mercury Lounge.

The creative team of "Artist of Light" includes: Miral Kotb (Director, Choreographer, Playwright); Athena S. Bienvenu (Playwright); Justin "Kanobby" Keitt (Musical Director/Composer); Christopher Tignor (Composer); John "JRock" Nelson (Choreographer, Scenic Design, Costume Design); Dario Mejia (Choreographer); and Marcus Allan Cobb (Choreographer).
