Broad Comedy will perform April 20-22 at 8pm at the Soho Playhouse (15 Vandam Street). Tickets are $39 and can be purchased by visiting www.sohoplayhouse.com.
Ever wonder what would happen if "Inside Amy Schumer" & "Full Frontal with Samantha Bee" had a child and hired Tim Minchin as The Manny? We have the answer! Bringing you politically savvy comedy since 2001, Broad Comedy is a nationally touring, award-winning, all-women musical comedy & sketch troupe that is made up of five irreverent & hilarious, multi-talented women who can do it all -- sing, dance & tackle political satire. Nothing is sacred to them, except an unflinching & hilarious look at our culture. (You might think twice before bringing your conservative mother-in-law!).
Broad Comedy will also host post-show Talk-Backs after each show; the amazing line up of speakers includes - NPR's "Ask Me Another" comedian Ophira Eisenberg, Pulitzer Prize-winning feminist columnist ElLen Goodman, comedian and host of Sirius XM's "Tell Me Everything" John Fugelsang, broadcast journalist and author Lynn Sherr, founder and publisher of "Women & Hollywood" Melissa Silverstein, Jezebel and Salon' Prachi Gupta and Vox.com's Liz Plank, as well as a slew of other brilliant feminist comedians and writers.
A YouTube sensation, Goodman have turned some heads with their take on Park Slope life, garnering over 170k views with "Sh!t Park Slope Parents Say" as well as crowdfunding a baby stroller for Sir Patrick Stewart.

Her album Halfway Closer To Dead, is a follow-up to the highly acclaimed I Didn't F*ck It Up, is a feisty (and NSFW!) tour de force of songs from rock to rap to pseudo-opera. This second album is smart, political, personal and hysterical with songs ranging from her YouTube viral hit "If You're Homophobic, You're Probably Gay" to "Boobs," to slam dunks taking on The Tea Party and climate change deniers. Plus, yeah, sex jokes. Because, it's Katie.
THE SOHO PLAYHOUSE serves the downtown theater community as a historic 199 seat Off Broadway venue. It was on this stage that Mr. Albee produced many first works of Terrance McNally, John Guare, Lanford Wilson, Sam Shephard, AR Gurney and LeRoi Jones.
