In WALTER VS. THE WATER AUTHORITY, a desperate father is pushed to the breaking point. Walter Murch makes his final stand against the local government with potentially deadly consequences.

Allen, Jenny Burleson, Ron McClary, Abeo Miller, Cody Neeb and Greg Skura. The Production Stage Manager is John Nehlich. The design team for both shows includes Cory Pattak (lighting design) and Caitlin J. Doukas (costume design). Geoffrey Scheer (playwright/director ON THE EIGHTH DAY...) is the author of The Ex (published by Samuel French),After the Ball (part of Write Club's Do Not Disturb at 59E59 Theaters), The Ritual (part of Where Eagles Dare's One-Page Play Festival),Accept and Follow (staged at The Kennedy Center), Love Lies and the children's musical Blue Picasso.
Plays written for Write Club NYC's 5x5 series include Take This Job and Shove It and Guy Talk. As an actor, Geoffrey has appeared Off-Broadway as Duke in The Great American Trailer Park Musical (New York Musical Theater Festival), Greg in gregslist: the musical (Prospect Theatre Company) and Moses in Runners in a Dream (York Theatre). He has also performed onstage as a guest artist at Columbia University and Randolph-Macon College. Geoffrey can currently be seen performing around the country as part of the musical comedy troupe The Water Coolers. Benjamin T. Scott (playwright WALTER VS. THE WATER AUTHORITY) founded Write Club NYC in the living room of his Hell's Kitchen apartment. He is the author of Empty Stares (American Theatreof Actors New Directors Festival), In Hiding(official selection of the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival), and The Other Shoe (part of Write Club NYC's Do Not Disturb at 59E59 Theaters). Ben is currently working on a theatre appreciation book for kids. Paula D'Alessandris (director WALTER VS. THE WATER AUTHORITY) is the Artistic Director/ Founder of Mind The Gap Theatre (MTG), New York's premiere Anglo-American theatre company dedicated to producing new British plays and creating an exchange of work between the US and UK. Favorite directing credits with Mind The Gap include the world premiere of The Cleric at 59E59 Theaters and Gary Owen's In The Pipeline.
Workshops: David Eldridge's Summer Begins and Under The Blue Sky (US premiere); Dan Remmes 'What Doesn't Kill Us; her stage adaptation of Gary Oldman's Nil By Mouth, and many others. She directed three consecutive winners at the Samuel French Festival (all of which have been published) and many pieces in MTG's popular BritBits series of short plays by, for or about the British. Favorite credits elsewhere include her multiple-award-winning productions at the Pittsburgh New Works Festival of the outrageous comedies Stampede! and The Butter Bin; critical and commercial successes Love! Valour! Compassion! (Pittsburgh premiere), ‘Night Mother, Extremities, Drinking in America, The Dumbwaiter, and Locating The Plant (Irish Arts Center, NYC). Other work includes the audiobook Pilgrimage to the Rebirth.
