Political satirist and pundit Will Durst brings his newest work, The All-American Sport of Bipartisan Bashing, to New World Stages.  Hanging Chad Productions presents the open-ended off-Broadway engagement beginning August 6; opening Wednesday, August 15.

The All-American Sport of Bipartisan Bashing is directed by Eric Krebs and features a production design by Peter Feuchtwanger.

"The All-American Sport of Bipartisan Bashing is a 90 minute political comedy for people who are sick of politics as usual," states press notes "We laugh to keep from crying, right? And with a president, two houses of Congress and endless parade of presidential hopefuls making daily punch lines out of headlines, Durst has got the best joke-writers in the business working for him."

Based in San Francisco, Will Durst has practiced his craft for over 30 years and has made more than 400 television appearances, including  "Countdown with Keith Olberman," "Crossfire," CNN, Fox News, Comedy Central, "Good Morning America," "Last Comic Standing," C-SPAN, "The Today Show," "The Late Show With David Letterman" and "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno." He has been nominated for five Emmy Awards and was the recipient of seven consecutive nominations for American Comedy Awards Stand Up of the Year. Most recently he was the co-host with Willie Brown, former mayor of San Francisco, on the morning drive time show on San Francisco's KQKE.
