WP Theater's 2018 Women Of Achievement Awards To Honor Daryl Roth and Beth Hammack

WP Theater, under the leadership of Producing Artistic Director Lisa McNulty and Managing Director Michael Sag, is thrilled to announce WP THEATER'S 40th ANNIVERSARY SEASON GALA honoring game-changing women with the Women of Achievement Awards. The gala, chaired by WP Board Members Laura Beinner and Jenna Segal, will honor Goldman Sachs Treasurer Beth Hammack and Tony Award-winning producer Daryl Roth (Kinky Boots, Indecent, The Normal Heart).

Hosted by Tony Award-winning actress and director Victoria Clark (The Light in the Piazza, Cinderella), with special performances by stage and screen actress & activist Krysta Rodriguez (What We're Up Against, "Trial & Error"), Brooklyn's premier Dolly Parton cover band Doll Parts (which includes star of WP's [PORTO], Julia Sirna-Frest), and an original song written by WP Lab member & 2018 Jonathan Larson Grant Winner Zoe Sarnak performed by Ariana DeBose (Summer, Hamilton, A Bronx Tale), Damon Daunno (Hadestown, The Lucky Ones), and Drama Desk Nominee Margo Seibert (In Transit, Rocky), the Gala will take place on Monday, June 4, 2018 at 6:30pm at The Edison Ballroom, 240 W 47th Street.

Each year WP honors truly outstanding women who have taken risks, pushed limits, and broken ground in a wide variety of fields, celebrating their unique accomplishments at the WOMEN OF ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS. Since its inception, WP Theater's Women of Achievement Awards has paid homage to luminaries such as Gloria Steinem, Whoopi Goldberg, Debra Messing, Audra McDonald, Eve Ensler, Dame Judi Dench, Kerry Washington, Vanessa Redgrave, and Chita Rivera, to name but a few. The WOMEN OF ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS delivers an inspiring, entertaining, star-studded night that celebrates the accomplishments of vital women across many disciplines in New York and beyond.
