WICKED CLONE Returns Off-Broadway This Winter Image

After critically lauded runs at Off Broadway's Davenport Theatre and St. Luke's Theatre, the original cinematic musical WICKED CLONE is back by popular demand at the historic American Theatre of Actors (ATA) this holiday season, December 19th thru January 13th, as part of the legendary organization's FEMALE VOICES IN THEATRE initiative.

This inspirational tale is a dazzling and immersive spectacle combining Musical Theatre & Film, with a story that spans seven centuries from Transylvania to modern-day New York City and beyond:born without a heartbeat, memories or inspiration, twin Vampires, Mihaela and Gabriela, enjoy their bloody escapades in 15th century Transylvania, until one night when Mihaela meets a young poet who falls in love with her and recites a poem deep from his heart. Jealous, Gabriela kills the poet. Before giving his last breath, the poet bites Mihaela's wrist. From that moment, Mihaela changes, and she desperately needs human love to survive. She runs away to New York and is followed through time and space by her wicked clone twin sister Gabriela, who tries to force her back home and to their bloodletting ways. However, Mihaela's dream of true immortality is more powerful than any fear.

WICKED CLONE The Cinema Musical is based on the bestselling magical-realism novel written and illustrated by Mihaela Modorcea - "Wicked Clone or How To Deal with the Evil," with music scores composed by Gabriela Modorcea.

The musical will play a limited engagement with performances December 19th thru January 13th, Wednesdays through Saturdays at 8 pm and Sundays at 3pm.
There is an additional performance Tuesday, January 8th at 8 PM. ATA is located at 314 West 54th Street. For ticket purchases visit: www.SmartTix.com.

With epic film projections, created by the twins with their father, Romanian filmmaker Grid Modorcea, and featuring an original pop-gypsy score that blends cinematic and symphonic sounds, unique theatrical hip-hop choreographies, and en-vogue Transylvanian costumes created by Indiggo Twins, WICKED CLONE The Cinema Musical promises to inspire those who see it to conquer their "wicked clone" and play their greatest role.

An original cast recording of WICKED CLONE The Cinema Musical, released by Broadway Records, is available for streaming via Amazon Music, Apple Music and Spotify.
