PERFECT WEDDING is a hilarious bedroom farce about a bridegroom who wakes up on his wedding morning in his honeymoon suite to find a gorgeous - and naked - girl in bed beside him! In post bachelor party hangover, he can't remotely remember her, and the bride is about to arrive at any moment. The chaos that ensues reaches nuclear proportions, creating a play that is both riotous comedy and touching love story.

Playwright Robin Hawdon has had an extremely varied career. From novelist and West End playwright, to soap actor, B movie film star and Hamlet, to director of one of England's foremost theatres (Theatre Royal Bath), his activities have spanned numerous aspects of the arts. His early plays BARN DANCE, THE SECRET and THE HERO were seen at such venues as The Hampstead Theatre and the Edinburgh and Salzburg festivals, and his first major commercial success, THE MATING GAME achieved a long run at London's Apollo Theatre, and has subsequently played in over thirty countries around the world. This was followed by other much performed and published plays such as BIRTHDAY SUITE REVENGE DON'T ROCK THE BOAT and PERFECT WEDDING, and the huge success of DON'T DRESS FOR DINNER (based on an early French play by Marc Camoletti) which ran in the West End for six years, and has played all over America, Australia, Canada and the English speaking world. His most recent play is GOD AND ! STEPHEN HAWKING, about the phenomenal advance of modern science and its effect on traditional philosophical thinking.

Director TERESA K. POND's credits include, in New York: Off-Broadway production of PINKALICIOUS; premiere productions and readings with The Women's Project Theatre, Vital Theatre (PRINCESS OF RIVERSIDE DRIVE, EXTRAORDINARY!), FringeNYC (top award-winner), NYU and Stella Adler Conservatory. Regional productions: at Western Stage Theatre (THE CLEAN HOUSE, NICKEL AND DIMED) and Irvine Studio Theatre (TARTUFFE, MACBETH - L.A. Times review); in Alaska (AMAHL AND THE NIGHT VISITORS, WEST SIDE STORY, OF MICE AND MEN), Cyrano's Theatre (SYLVIA AND SHAKESPEARE IN HOLLYWOOD), among others; plus several years directing musicals, opera, and plays as Producing Artistic Director of ACT in Alaska. Member: Lincoln Center Directors' Lab, The Women's Project Directors Forum, and co-director of NewShoe. Teresa is a proud member of the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers (SSDC).
