From Vineyard Theatre in New York City, this is "Theatre Uncorked," where Vineyard artists come together to talk about the process of bringing new works to the stage, hosted by host Kevin Winebold.
The Vineyard is proud to be presenting plays by some of the most exciting new voices in the theatre this season, starting with the New York premiere of GOOD GRIEF by Ngozi Anyanwu, directed by Awoye Timpo.
In Episode 9, Ngozi and Awoye talk about how the show has developed and changed over the past four years, the advantages and challenges for Ngozi to be both the playwright and leading actor of the show, the influence August Wilson has had on both of them, and how their previous and current productions have allowed them to develop a dynamic, collaborative relationship.
