Golden Globe award-winning actress Sandra Oh stopped by The TODAY Show on Wednesday to discuss some of her latest projects, including the Off-Broadway play The Welkin, which is currently in previews.
"It centers around a jury of women who have to decide on whether to put a fellow woman to death," the actress described, before quickly adding "It's also funny!"
"It explores womanhood in its entirety, in its power, its grief, its mercy, and in its childbearingness. There's a cast of 16 actors, but 13 women are on stage all the time."
She went on to describe the intimate space of the Atlantic Theater: "It's in a church so you're really with the audience...It's just a thrill to do."
