A new play by acclaimed playwright Coni Koepfinger will receive a developmental reading at the Dramatist Guild of America's Friday Night Footlights Reading Series on April 10, 2015.

In Unspoken Acts, when loner Dale befriends Father Frank in confession, an extraordinary journey begins. Dale confides his deepest regrets and darkest secrets. Moved by Dale's lifelong suffering, Father Frank vows to clear Dale's name, putting his own faith and position at risk and facing an old lesson: trust is a gift from God.

Produced by Josh Parkin-Ring; performed by television actor Ariel Eliaz (CBS's Blue Bloods, USA's Dig, Robert (Conkling) Kilbridge's Boiled Alive!); directed by Melissa Attebery (24 Hour Plays, MadTV, Viacom Productions).

In a recent statement by the producer, "[Koepfinger] is a unique voice. Recognized globally for poetry, anthologies, stage musicals and plays, [she] writes of the psychological and spiritual aspect of the human experience and the power of an individual's higher purpose. Her success as a playwright is accredited by her ability to grab an audience's emotional condition off guard with an honest ability to start healing and a personal call to action." He continues, "I'm excited to merge the talents of Ariel Eliaz and Melissa Attebery--two amazing artists of the stage."

The reading will be held on Friday, April 10, 2015, 7:30pm at The Dramatist Guild of America, Frederick Loewe Room, 1501 Broadway, 7th Floor, New York, New York.

Guests should RSVP at the project's website by visiting http://www.UnspokenActs.com/rsvp.
