Musicals Tonight! continues its ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway Standbys, Understudies and Alternates with its next edition of AT THIS PERFORMANCE... to be held on Sunday, April 10th at The Lion Theatre, 410 West 42nd Street at 7 PM.
Hosted by series Producing Artistic Director and Casting Director Stephen DeAngelis, the popular series allows performers to showcase their versatility and share anecdotes about their experiences.
Performers scheduled for Sunday, April 10th are Robert Ariza (Understudy for the roles of Melchior, Hanschen, Georg and Otto in the Broadway revival of Spring Awakening), Major Attaway (Standby for the roles of The Genie, The Sultan and Babkak in the Broadway production of Aladdin), Julie Benko (Understudy for the roles of Hodel, Chava, Shprintze and Bielke in the Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof), Charity Angel Dawson (Understudy for the role of Becky in the Broadway production of Waitress), Rachel Eskenazi-Gold (Understudy for the role of Christine Daae in the Broadway production of The Phantom of the Opera), Thayne Jasperson(Understudy for the role of King George, Philip Hamilton and John Laurens in the Broadway production of Hamilton), Alyse Alan Louis (Standby for the roles of Sister Mary Downy, Shirley, Jackie and Ben/Lisa in the Broadway production of Disaster!), Ginna Claire Mason (Standby for the role of Glinda in the Broadway production of Wicked), Jeremy Morse (Understudy for the role of Ogie in the Broadway production of Waitress), George Psaomas (Understudy for the role of Perchik in the Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof), Sabrina Sloan (Understudy for the role of Diana Ross in the Broadway production of Motown The Musical) and Jessica Vosk (Understudy for the roles of Golde and Yente in the Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof).
The evening will also feature a Special Appearance by Christine Dwyer (Wicked). Musical Director/Accompanist for the evening will be Eugene Gwozdz.
AT THIS PERFORMANCE... debuted in October 2003 and to date has showcased the talents of 804 Standbys, Understudies and Alternates who have covered 3637 roles in 428 Broadway and Off-Broadway productions.
